The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation

The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation is a welcoming Episcopal parish in West Point, Mississippi. Our tagline says it simply: "All are welcome!" Our mission is to share the transforming and redeeming grace of Jesus Christ through prayer, the breaking of bread, Scripture study, fellowship, and outreach. We gather for in-person worship every Wednesday and Sunday. Sunday begins with Adult Formation at 9:15 a.m., Coffee Hour at 10:00 a.m., and Holy Eucharist, Rite II, at 10:30 a.m. (see sunday-morning-formation). On Wednesdays we offer Holy Eucharist with Anointing for Healing at 5:30 p.m. The page-3190214 homepage also lists the Tuesday Bible in a Year broadcast, Wednesday supper, and online worship through LocalLive and Facebook Live.

Our rector, rev-karl-schaffenburg, is the primary celebrant at our Sunday and Wednesday services and leads Bible in a Year. The four-part Anglican Identity series (page-3192138, page-3192139, page-3192140, page-3192141) helps newcomers and longtime members understand Anglican belief and practice.

Our story stretches back more than 150 years, from a small mission in 1870 to parish status in 1999. You can read it in page-850734.
